When the 1986 musical version of Little Shop of Horrors was released on DVD in early 1998, it included a black&white work print of the original ending, a jaunty little number featuring gigantic Audrey II plants on the rampage called “Don’t Feed The Plants.” But David Geffen, producer of the film, was not consulted, and did not approve. So Little Shop of Horrors became the first recalled DVD, and an instant collector’s item.

At long last, on blu-ray, Little Shop of Horrors - The Director’s Cut is being released, with the original ending intact.



THe disc is supposed to be delivered by UPS on Tuesday. I can’t wait to see it in color and fully restored!
